According to common core standards, QRI-5 is an assessment technique devised to help students with their reading and writing abilities and also as a way for them to become better at their craft. So far, I haven't seen it applied in any of the classrooms I've been in during my field observations but from what I have read about the QRI-5 assessment technique up until this point, it clearly demonstrates the ever evolving cycle of learning/teaching which further supports the claim that when the traditional standards of practice end up running their course and become outdated, something new comes along to help revolutionize the game entirely as a way to help make learning easier and more interesting than before for both teachers and students alike to engage in.
